We started building our unique path more than 15 years ago.

We are an international intergovernmental research organisation aiming to perform cutting-edge research and development in nanotechnology.

We were founded by the governments of Portugal and Spain under an international legal framework to deploy nanotechnology for the benefit of society. We aim to become the worldwide hub for nanotechnology addressing society’s grand challenges.
